Ebony & Kris' Elegant Weekend Affair

I’m so excited to share Ebony and Kris’ wedding day today! Most couple’s that I work with having the standard one-day wedding but with Ebony and Kris’ they decided to make it a TWO DAY affair! They are such a lovely couple and I’ve adored working with Ebony since last fall when we first met. By splitting the wedding up on two days, they were able to fully enjoy the experience that surrounds a wedding and not feel rushed or overwhelmed by the process. And trust me, it was a weekend to not forget!

Ebony and Kris were married in front of an intimate gathering of family and friends on Friday, August 2nd at The Parsonage and it was truly a magical moment. Saturday was the official reception and y’all it did not disappoint! Held at the stunning Merchants Hall, guests gathered to celebrate this lovely couple in style. Complete with stunning floral arrangements and a dance party that brought the house down, it’s safe to say everyone’s feet were hurting the next day from dancing all night!

Each detail from both days were seeped in Charleston history including the beautiful Palmetto roses in her bouquet and shrimp and grit bags as wedding guest favors on Saturday. I thoroughly enjoyed helping Ebony create the shrimp and grits recipe card that was placed inside each bag!

A special thank you to the vendor dream team that made this weekend a reality!
